Monday, August 30, 2010 at 4:53PM Hey there...You know...we have always been told that TV is bad for us and that we are going to rot our brains, yadda, yadda, yadda. But sometimes, I think TV has a great moments...like the first time I saw MJ do the moonwalk while watching the Motown 25th Anniversary. I'll never forget it. Last night, Jimmy Fallon and friends put on one of the best award show openings I've ever seen. Plain and simple....it was a fun ride with a few good laughs....Way to go Jimmy. Have a look!
Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 5:00AM Last night I was watching the new series Rubicon (cool new show) and I saw this Geico spot. They have created their own variation on does a "Bear ___ in the woods". While I don't learn much about the company, it does engender a positive feeling about their brand. Hey...they made me laugh. We look fvorably on brands that make us laugh. What do you think?

The ad agency for Old Spice took another approach: create a storyline so fraught with cliches, that we have to laugh (a la Talladga Nights, Airplane and Scary Movie). The result: huge success and a memorable Madison Avenue character - The Old Spice Guy.
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 2:33PM This is advertising in top form. The message is loud and clear. You feel it in your bones at the punchline. Moreover the advertiser has shown you something new and hilarious. This is one of my favorites. I wish I had thought it...
